ORLANDO (CBSMiami) – A Disney guest was feeling a little ‘goofy’ after he lost his loaded gun on a ride in the Animal Kingdom.
Royal Palm Beach resident Angelo Lista, 44, would later tell Orange County Sheriff’s deputies that his .380-caliber semiautomatic pistol fell out of his pocket while he was riding the bumpy Dinosaur ride.
The Cobra pistol, which was loaded with five hollow point rounds, was found by a grandmother around noon, according to the Orlando Sentinel. She handed it over to a park attendant who alerted security. They in turn notified the sheriff’s office.
Disney’s entrance policy clearly states that no guns or explosives are allowed on their property.
Lista said he was not aware of this policy because he didn’t see any signs forbidding those items. He added that he thought the security personnel at the bag check area at the entrance to the park…
