Shiloh Restaurant Worker Robbed Overnight

According to police, the worker was finishing his shift at the 54th Street Grill in the  Green Mount Crossing Shopping Center.  Shiloh police rushed to the scene just after 1:00 a.m. when the employee reported being grabbed from behind and robbed.

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department, Shiloh police and Illinois State Police set up a perimeter and used search dogs to track down the suspect.

The suspect was captured by police and taken into custody.  Charges could be filed later Monday.  The employee suffered a minor injured and was treated by EMS workers and released.
