OAKLAND (WTVR/CNN) – The bride was among five people killed when a limo caught fire over the weekend. The vehicle was on its way to a bachelorette party when flames started shooting out of the back.
“Looking at the photos, it appears it started in the trunk,” California Highway Patrol spokesman Ron Simmons said Sunday. “But at this time, we don’t know officially if the fire started inside the vehicle or on the exterior.”
The limo driver was uninjured. The four surviving women were treated for smoke inhalation.
A coworker of bride-to-be Neriza Fojas said she last saw her friend on Friday.
