BREAKING: Police investigate suspicious death in Norfolk

Dispatchers received a call about a medical situation at 9:10 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found a woman and she was later pronounced dead.

The woman was identified on Tuesday as 50-year-old Pamela Darlene Clark.

Investigators have charged two suspects with murder in connection with Clark’s death.

The suspects have been identified as 59-year-old Robert Vernon Bruton and 49-year-old Thomas Lee Pamp. Both were detained on Monday night at the scene of the murder. They are currently being questioned at the Norfolk Police Operations Center and have not yet been booked.

Once the Medical Examiner determined the death was homicide, both suspects were charged with murder.

Police say the victim and suspects knew each other.

A motive is not being released at this time.
