SOLON, Ohio — Solon police are warning residents to be “vigilant” after two recent attempted abductions.
Both attempts were at the Park East Apartments.
On April 30 around 10:15 p.m. a female resident, 17, reported being pulled by the arm by a man outside her apartment. She was able to escape by screaming and hitting him with her keys.
Another resident reported a similar incident around 9:30 p.m. on May 1 while attempting to gain entry into her apartment. When the victim yelled, the man escaped into the woods.
The suspect is described as a young, light-skinned black male or possibly bi-racial. He’s 5’7″ -5’11”, thin build with brown eyes, and is possibly in his late teens or early 20s.
Solon Police are warning residents to be vigilant and report all suspicious activity.Authorities are increasing patrols in the area while detectives investigate.
